Aphrodite

Aphrodite, the religion of ancient Greece, was considered the goddess of love and beauty. Homer's Iliad is presented as the daughter of Zeus and Dione, one of his wives, but in the Theogony of Hesiod is said that he was born from sea foam. According to Homer, Aphrodite is the bride of the god Hephaestus, among her lovers was Ares, god of war, and rivaled with Persephone, queen of the underworld, for the love of Adonis, a young greek. It is said that Aphrodite's son, Aeneas by Anchises, the Trojan prince. Legend more wants because of the famous Trojan War: Eris, goddess of discord, was the only one not invited to the wedding of King Peleus with the sea goddess Thetis: resentful, threw in the banquet hall a golden apple on which were the words: "The more beautiful." When Zeus refused to choose between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, the three goddesses who wanted to apple, they turned to Paris, Prince of Troy. Each promised a gift: He would make him powerful, Athena would bring military glory and Aphrodite would instead be granted the most beautiful woman in the world. Paris decreed that it was the apple to Aphrodite, as a reward and asked Helen, wife of King Menelaus greek. With the abduction of Helen, Paris triggered the Trojan War. Aphrodite were attributed to a variety of cult titles, including that of Urania, queen of heaven, and Pandemic Aphrodite, goddess of all peoples. In Rome, the equivalent of Aphrodite is the goddess Venus. Originally goddess of gardens and orchards, for identification with Aphrodite, goddess of love was considered and beauty. In imperial times was worshiped under many different forms: as Genitrix Venus was the mother of the hero Aeneas, the founder of the Roman people and especially of the gens Iulia, which belonged to Julius Caesar, as Venus Felix, bearer of good fortune as Venus Victrix, the one that provides victory, and as Venus Verticordia, protector of feminine chastity. Venus was considered the wife of Vulcan, God of metalworking, but he was often unfaithful. Among his many lovers, according to legend, there were Mars, the god of war and the beautiful shepherd Adonis and Anchises, the father of Aeneas. Venus was considered the mother of Cupid, the God of love.
In his appearance, the Holy One, El Ellah, told me that the legend concerning Venus was a prophecy, and as such was regarded by the Romans, prophesied the birth of Venus, here on earth, and so his legend was interpreted in a way inspired by artists.
instead Aphrodite, Aphrodite or Venus , it exists because I saw her, whether that dream vision, is beautiful and has blue eyes.
Once, I saw her go down literally to me and sat on my bed to tell me that the legend of his betrayal with Ares is un'invezione and degenarione complaining of its worship. The identification of Aphrodite Urania is wrong: Urania is another goddess, daughter of Venus and Aphrodite.
