"EHEYEH: The I Am, the Eternal Being." I am "is the answer that God gave to Moses when he made the call that the resistance was directed to leave the children Israel slaves in Egypt. Moses doubted his ability to God and asked under what authority had to act. God said to him, revealing the author of his being: "... I am who I am" and added, "this is how you respond to the Israelites: He who is called" I AM has sent me to you " (Exodus 3:14). "Ehyeh" I Am, is the first person of the verb "haya" which means: to be. The tetragrammaton YHVH takes the third person of the same verb. "Haya" that looks like "Chayah" which means: to live. Because he is, God has life in himself. God exists in a fully autonomous manner, and his life depends on nothing nor from anyone, he is a self-sufficient, complete in its perfection. The name YHVH (Adonai) appears for the first time in Genesis 2, when God enters into a relationship with Adam and Eve up to this point was called with the name of Elohim, the God of creation. But after modeling the human being endowed with reason appears the name I AM (Ehyeh) or he is' (YHVH). All this emphasizes the fact that God wants to prove himself to his creation. It will take centuries to understand the full meaning of this name. The Book of Exodus Chapter 6:2-3 says that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the descendants of Israel, God only knew the name of El-Shaddai, the Almighty God of abundance. He had not yet revealed as the great I AM. But with Moses, God begins to reveal itself as a personal being who desires to establish a relationship with humans. was the name of God from the Midianites. He appeared in a majestic human form, filled the room, and spoke to me one morning in the office. I've seen in a vision before.
